WORKING TOGETHER TO PROTECT OUR ELDERS
The KAUAI ELDER ABUSE COUNCIL was founded by
THE J&B RATCLIFFE FOUNDATION
which is a non-profit organization. Based in the Lihue , this council was created to establish partnership with appropriate public, private Agencies and Organizations to:
Provide Public Education
Increase Community Awareness
Encourage reporting of Elder Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation
Address the needs of the Victims of Elder Abuse
THE J & B RATCLIFFE FOUNDATION designed
the KEAC specifically to allow professionals involved in Elder Abuse to better communicate with each other to create a smoother operating response system.
It has been put in place to work directly with the vast panoply of services providers and General Business Entities.
THE KAUAI ELDER ABUSE COUNCIL Founders are the recipients
of the First Ladies Award for Outstanding Volunteer Services, the Red Cross Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award, as well as

"EMPOWERING PEOPLE AS LONG AS WE ARE NEEDED"
ELDER ABUSE is a growing problem in our Society, it's rampant in these modern days.
A great number of Seniors are being abused. Many of them are ashamed or don’t know how to ask for help.
It's time for us to act, it's time for us to speak up. We have to do the right thing for our Elders.
